To inculcate the basic knowledge guided by applications and scientific temper and to enhance the competitive skills among the students to face challenges of the insatiable demand for Electronics and Instrumentation in the industry

ABOUT DEPARTMENT ::

The branch of Instrumentation was started in 2005 with Mr. Sridhar Chitta as its Head with Mr. N. Dinesh Kumar (Sr. Asst. Prof.), Mrs. K. Bhavani, Ms. K. Tanuja Devi and Ms. Rakhee as Asst. Professors.

From 2007, Mr N Dinesh Kumar, Associate Professor is heading the department with well-experienced faculty. The qualified faculty and laboratory staff have undergone training by experts on teaching methodologies.

Management always encourages the staff to do higher studies, or attend some seminars, workshops, etc. In this process from the department Ms. K Padmavathi and Ms K Vasudha, Assistant professor is permitted to go on for a long leave to update her knowledge in the field of Instrumentation combined with embedded systems.


Started with an Intake of 60 seats in 2005, the present strength is 225. Two batches have successfully completed their B.Tech degree. Most of the students have opted for higher studies and have faired well in their studies. Others have bagged software and Core jobs in reputed organizations like Infosys, IBM, Virtusa, Air liquid, Cement and power plants etc.

The students experience a high-class learning experience and cope with their studies efficiently.  The department has state-of-art equipment specially designed to improve the learning experience.
